Chicago, Illinois Panoramic Picture 9 Large Size: 13 1/2 inches x 40 inches!
Panoramic photograph taken by renowned photographer James Blakeway.
This twilight panorama of downtown Chicago was taken by James Blakeway. On the far left, reflecting on a partially frozen Lake Michigan is Shedd Aquarium. Moving right is the tallest building in Chicago, the Willis Tower, formerly known as the Sears Tower. It is easily identified by its multi-tiered design and two communication antennas. At the time of its completion in 1974, it was the tallest building in the world and held this rank for nearly 25 years. Further right in the background with a single antenna, is the second tallest building, Trump International Hotel and Tower. Aon Center, the tallest building to the right of Trump Tower, is the third tallest building in Chicago.
