Featured along the left bank of the River Thames is the Palace of Westminster, also called the Houses of Parliament, which includes Victoria Tower and The Clock Tower, commonly referred to as Big Ben. Big Ben is actually a 15-ton bell that tolls the hours. Westminster Abbey, the site of every Coronation since 1066, is just left of the Palace of Westminster. Along the right riverbank is the world's largest Ferris wheel, the London Eye, rising 450 feet above the River Thames. Westminster Bridge crosses between the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye.
