This area includes Wall Street and many major U.S. stock exchanges and financial institutions. The two closest bridges crossing the East River are the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. Ellis Island is behind and slightly left of the Statue of Liberty. New York's tallest skyscraper, the Empire State Building can be seen in the distance.
